I humbly request your support to serve as your Western District Director.
I have worked tirelessly with community leaders to establish accountability to change the inequities entrenched in education, leadership, social justice and economic development.
I currently serve as President/Chief Executive of 100 Black Men Las Vegas. During my tenure as president, the Las Vegas chapter has been established as a community leader providing youth mentoring, life skills, economic development, and leadership programs. We have also established a successful fund development strategy raising over $1 million dollars. I have also held Board level positions with the organization for over 10 years including Vice President, Executive Director and Mentor Chair.
Additionally, I serve on the 100 Black Men of America National Chapter Development Committee, and I regularly facilitate the “Effective Mentoring” module to Leadership Institute cohorts.
My proven background as a successful business owner, executive vice president of global sales, as well as an economic development professional, enables me to provide expertise and resources that have proven to be beneficial at the chapter level and will also be beneficial to the Western District. My goal as your Western District Director is to collectively create an ecosystem where we work together to enhance:
- Mentoring – Mentee and program exchanges to impact development of our youth
and create generational change.\ - Leveraged Funding – Help provide funding and grant opportunities to other
chapters in the West. - Membership – Share practices that increase membership and participation.
Technology – Incorporate technology to make chapters more efficient and make
our youth more competitive. - Community Advocacy – Work together to address education, leadership and
economic development challenges. - Chapter Growth + Development – Provide best practices that will increase our
presence in the Western District and nationally.
Your vote will put us on the road to a new and exciting era.
