I’m Charles Lollar and I’m running to be your Director of Operations for our 100 BMOA.

I went to high school at John McEachern High School in Powder Springs Georgia. After high school I went on to Emory University where I majored in Behavioral Science, Political science, as well as Philosophy. I graduated from Emory and went on to Kennesaw State University. After leaving College I landed my first corporate job working for the United Parcel Service. I left there and I found myself two years later in the heart of the United States Maine Corps, in 1999 in the Kosovo conflict as a young Lieutenant. There I learned and understood the importance of sacrifice, servant leadership, and bringing back my Marines to their families. I retired from the Marine Corps as a Major in 2017 after 20 years of service.

My executive experience doesn’t stop there. I went to work for 5 different Fortune 500 companies as a senior executive – recently as a regional division president. In 1993 I started and founded a nonprofit called Trinity World Christian Center in Douglasville, Georgia. That nonprofit is still going on today and I’m very proud to continue to head that organization. I led the NAACP Youth & College Division in 1991 and 1992 as a state president and have been a member of the 100 BMOA since 2010 and was the founding president of the 100 Black Men of Douglasville chapter.

I am a proven strategic operator that drives results while caring about people and understanding the importance of social justice. I understand the importance of economics and entrepreneurialism. In short, I want what’s best for our 100 and I want to work hard to achieve that. I want you to trust me with your vote knowing I will work hard to increase collaboration and synergy through information sharing amongst all our chapters, drive for additional IT and social media expansion and executing the implementation of our signature mentoring program systematically into every urban HS in the United States.

This is a pivotal time for our 100 and my hope is that you will trust me to help lead our operations forward.
